Wilderness Day: Wear camo or bright orange!

Quarter 2 Goal: 1,000 Golden Moments. Can students recognize each other for their level of engagement? We are excited to see students recognizing each other this quarter!

311 has been been busy researching topics for our opinion writing unit. Today, students tried writing their own introduction paragraph, which includes a lead, a topic sentence, and a sneak peek of their three main reasons to back up their overall opinion! Ms. Brenna can’t wait to see these opinion essays come to fruition. 🤩 They are working so hard!!

Tomorrow is Kindness Day! Wear a shirt with a positive saying!

November Dress Up Days

Here come FRACTIONS! 412 is just around the corner from starting a new unit which has an instructional focus on fractions.
Learners took a pre-assessment to see what background knowledge they have. Prior to getting started, each learner wrote another learner an encouraging/motivating affirmation. Zoom in on the sticky notes to see what they had to say to lift each other up.❣️

💙💛 Roadrunners are learning about Patient Patty and Persistent Percy! 💛💙
Over the past week, our students have been talking about what it means to be patient and persistent.
🦋 Patient Patty reminds us that good things take time and that staying calm helps us do our best work.
💪 Persistent Percy teaches us to keep going, even when things feel challenging.
Together, they help our Roadrunners remember that learning and growing take both patience and perseverance! 🌟
Ask your child how they’ve shown patience or persistence this week — we love hearing how these lessons carry over at home! 💙
