Patrick Henry students will take the winter Measures of Academic Progress (MAP) Assessment for Math on Wednesday, 12/6 and for Reading on Thursday, 12/7. We will run an alternate bell schedule to accommodate testing in the morning. Please remind your child to charge their Chromebooks.


We invite you to support the Panther Athletic events this week by cheering on our girls basketball teams and boys/girls wrestlers.


Patrick Henry 6th, 7th and 8th grade choir students are looking forward to their Choir Concert on Tuesday, December 5th!
Location: Lincoln High School Auditorium
Time: Students need to be at LHS 30 min before their grade level concert time.
6th Grade - 5:00 pm rehearsal; 5:30 pm concert
7th grade - 6:00 pm rehearsal; 6:30 pm concert
8th grade - 7:00 pm rehearsal; 7:30 pm concert
Attire: Students wear their black PHMS Music Shirt with black pants and black shoes. Close-toed black shoes are recommended or safety on the risers, but it isn't necessary.
Door: The auditorium doors will open to the public 5 min before each concert starts.
Price: Free!

Patrick Henry 8th Graders attended JA Inspire yesterday and gained knowledge about the fast-growing, high-demand careers available in our region. JA Inspire was a hands-on expo that brought to life a variety of careers and highlighted the different educational pathways to obtaining them.

Last week, 6th grade general music students worked with Matthew Tylutki, who is the organ instructor at Augustana University. Students learned about past organs and built a miniature organ as a class. It was pretty cool for students to see the science behind how an organ plays!

Patrick Henry Orchestra Students have been busy preparing for their upcoming concert tomorrow night, Tuesday, November 28 in the Patrick Henry Main Gym.
6th Grade and Strings Attached will start at 6:30 (Students should arrive by 6:10)
7th and 8th Grade will start at 7:30 (Students should arrive by 7:10)
*Students should wear their PHMS Music Shirt and dark pants*

Meet Team 8-1! Last week during Kindness Week, students on 8-1 wrote kind messages for each other on their desks using erasable markers!









Earlier this week, 6-3 students that are participating in the National History Day competition travelled to SDSU to spend time researching their topics! They met with librarians, archivists, history professors, and NHD judges to get guidance on their research and project.
