Earlier this week, our 8th graders took the stage and shared their voices at this year’s Patrick Henry Poetry Slam! Students spent time crafting original poems in their ELA classes, and representatives from each team were selected to perform in front of the entire 8th grade class. It’s such a fun tradition and a great reminder of the creativity, courage, and talent in this group. As the year winds down, moments like these make the memories even more special. 💙💛

We are thankful for the care, compassion, and support she provides to our students every day. From helping students through illnesses and injuries to offering comfort and reassurance, her kindness and calm presence make a difference throughout our school community. We appreciate all she does to keep our students safe, healthy, and ready to learn. ✨

From building strong, healthy bodies to developing teamwork, resilience, and confidence—PE helps shape the whole child. Happy National School Principal's Day to Mr. Noll! 🎉
Today we recognize the dedication and leadership that Mr. Noll brings to Patrick Henry each day—helping create an environment where both students and staff can thrive. The staff made sure to celebrate in a way that truly captured his personality… by completely filling his office with random objects—basically his worst nightmare when it comes to clutter! 😄 Thankfully, Mr. Noll handled the surprise exactly how we’ve come to expect—with a sense of humor and a willingness to laugh along with us. It’s just one of the many reasons he’s a valued leader in our school. We appreciate everything Mr. Noll does for Patrick Henry students, staff, and our school community!

Our bus drivers are often the first smile in the morning and the last goodbye in the afternoon, setting the tone for a positive school experience. Let's thank them for their patience, dedication, and commitment to keeping our children safe. Their role is essential, and their impact reaches far beyond the road.

Our NASA TechRise team has been hard at work turning their experiment into a flight-ready project. Over the past three months, students have collaborated with NASA mentors 2–3 times a week to design, build, and test their payload—tackling everything from prototyping and soldering to coding and system integration for microgravity conditions. They’ve been problem-solving in real time, refining their setup to study how moondust simulant reacts under different light conditions. 💡🔬
Wish them luck as they approach their final sendoff in a few weeks—their teamwork and dedication are shining, and we can’t wait to see their work take flight.🌟✈️

Team 8-2 is making the most of these final weeks of middle school! 💡In ELA, students took their writing outside, using figurative language to create poems inspired by their surroundings. 🌿✍️ In math, they’ve been exploring cube roots—challenging their thinking and building strong problem-solving skills. 🔢 As their middle school journey comes to a close, it’s great to see them staying engaged, creative, and ready for what’s next! 🎓✨
